We are pleased to announce that Heartland Motorsports Park will be the location for scrutineering and Formula Sun Grand Prix 2020, which also serves as a qualifier for the American Solar Challenge 2020! Just on the outside edge of Topeka, KS, the solar cars will be onsite July 10-16, 2020.
Heartland Park was the location of the first 6 Formula Sun Grand Prix events from 2000-2005. The 2.5 mile road course track has been resurfaced and their facilities now include a tech center, a timing & scoring building, and garages. The track is conveniently located 90 minutes from Independence, making for an easy transition to the American Solar Challenge display day and start line.
We would like to thank Heartland Motorsports Park for their sponsorship of the Formula Sun Grand Prix in making it possible to bring this event to Topeka, KS.
