Seeing that progress has traditionally been made for few months after a race and the last minutes up to the next, if anyone could recapitulate statements made at the ASC2010 awards ceremony regarding a potential track race it would be greatly appreciated!

Paul Hirtz on Team Participation Agreements

Teams,

Recently I have begun to receive team participation agreements. I have received a few that i was unable to accept. I thought I would post a quick thread on this subject to get the word out to help you all save time.

All of the teams participating are hosted by a higher educational institution. In so the team participation agreement must be signed by an officer of your college/university that has the legal authority to enter the institution into a legal contract.

This means that students and many times faculty and staff of the institution serving as advisors are not able to sign.

These agreements should be between your host institution and the Innovators Educational Foundation. The name that should be shown in the first line of the ageement should be your host instituion (not your solar car team name).

For most institutions you may want to contact your campus business office, general council office, or inquire with your president's / chancellor's office for direction.

You should make an effort to do this sooner than later as there are times questions are rasied and we would like to address them quickly and promptly to ensure your team's ability to compete this summer.

Thank you
