Teams are now on the track raycing. The next three days teams will prove who can go the distance on solar only. The winner of the FSGP is the team with the most miles between now and Friday.

The FSGP also services as the qualifier for the American Solar Challenge (ASC). Each team needs to drive 170 miles in 1 day or 255 miles in 2 consecutive days of racing. Starting order for ASC will be based on the final results of the FSGP event.

Track Race – Formula Sun Grand Prix (FSGP) Dates: June 16-18 (Wed-Fri) Location: Motorsport Ranch in Cresson, TX FSGP is a track race, which also serves as a qualifier for the road race. The top 12 teams in FSGP, which complete a TBD number of laps in a single day, will automatically qualify for ASC. Others can secure a spot in ASC by completing a TBD number of laps over two days with a certain minimum number of laps completed within one of those two days. The exact bar is still being determined.
